“They’re not calling you white they’re talking about your mannerism, dress and the way you carry yourself!” Said by Africans living outside of Africa about being Black and called white in Africa.

A Sundanese student, living and studying in Uganda told me how they (Ugandans) mock him for his dark skin & his tall stature. He’s the son of a military officer in South Sudan, he is of the Dinka tribe. His face is perfect, teeth white and well taken care of, this handsome African man stands at 6 feet, 6 inches tall. He plans to leave Uganda upon graduation but isn’t sure of his future plans, he speaks of African’s anti-Blackness.

Yet he doesn’t call it that, many Africans don’t seem to think racism and anti-Blackness exists in Africa. It is only the tool of other countries and continent’s outside of Africa.
