Two Women Arrested for Using Money to Decorate a Cake & Posting it Online
Second such story in a second African country

The duo was arrested for posting a cake decorated with Malawian currency. These decorative cake bakers were caught when photos of the cake made their way around social media. The two are charged with defacing the currency which is illegal in Malawi.
The same such incident happened in Zimbabwe but that couple actually ripped the money. These bills don’t look damaged at all, who knows? People need to learn the laws where they live before using currency for anything other than purchasing items or services.
