In a Ghana Expat Group I asked About Racism in Ghana — The Replies Were Heartbreaking

Ghanians were in the group & they insulted foreigners so much the comments were turned off by the group Admin

I wanted to connect with others within Ghana who had experienced racism and xenophobia in Ghana. I joined an expat group which had over 10,000 members, I posted my question and left my email for replies.

Ghanians took to the comments section and in doing so the Ghanian members started to not only insult me for asking but to insult those who posted about discrimination in Ghana. This sad part is one white woman said she just doesn’t talk, after 11 years living in Ghana she just keeps quiet.

Here is an example of a White American’s post about Elon Musk, the South African born Twitter owner. Who is fucking up social media and Tesla, this is what she was replying too, someone saying he was ruining Twitter.
