While standing for the South Sudan national anthem, President Salva Kiir Mayardit can be seen in a viral video, wetting his pants. He looks down to see this and the cameraman pans away. Social media was ablaze with comments and posts about the incident. Facebook and Twitter posts some were even falsely claiming the cameraman hung himself.

A website disproved that the cameraman hung himself, however, it does mention that several journalists are missing. That perhaps the government of South Sudan did ‘pick up’ the cameraman after filming and posting this video.
