Africa is not free until Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is free

Another United Nations failure along with Morocco’s refusal to give SADR their coastal land

Since 22 February 1982 the country that everyone overlooks when Google tells them there are only 54 African countries. I’ve written about Somaliland which isn’t considered a country by the African Union or the United Nations.

With just about the same number of United Nations member states in agreement that Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and Somaliland are indeed countries that deserve to recognition.

However Morocco refuses to remove it’s hold over the entire coastline of the Sahrawi nation. Only giving them 20% of their land mass to control.

Only a few African nations are standing behind the country, even the African Union giving them status as a nation was a step forward but just how long will this support last?

Many are in favor of Morocco for military and trade reasons.

NOTE: For a trade agreement with Morocco the President of Kenya William Ruto decided to downgrade Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic as a country. Right after his swearing in as president which the president of Sahrawi Brahim Ghali was in attendance. Then the Kenyan government made this statement:
